The seventh anniversary of the Ma Foi Foundation day was celebrated on 21st Dec 2013 at Sir Thyagaraya Auditorium, T.Nagar along with Disha Youth Movement day. The programme was managed entirely by the DYM team including the cultural performances. The chief guests for the event were Mr.Murugavel, Founder, Bharat Matrimony and Mr.Rajeev Mecheri, MD, Mecheri Smart Capital Pvt. Ltd. During the event top performers of Disha in the tenth and twelfth board exams were felicitated with the Academic Excellence Award while Young Achievers Award went to those who have excelled in one of the disciplines of Academics, Sports, Arts or Community Services.

This event was made possible by the support of our sponsors Suraj Cars, Winners Bakery & Confectionery, Maharaja Constructions, Velammal Engineering College & Jaya Engineering College and we thank them heartily. Foundation Day 2011

We celebrated our 5th anniversary on 13th of November. Actor Surya graced the occasion and presented this year‘s Disha Young Achievers Award to 10 children . It was such a wonderful experience for the children and they enjoyed it immensely.

Naalai Namadhe: A free magazine for Tamil medium students

We all pretty well know that there are very few resources in Tamil to help Tamil medium students to enhance their aca-demic skills in particular and develop gen-eral knowledge. In this context a new magazine titled Naalai Namadhe was re-leased by Actor Surya on Foundation Day. 25000 copies are printed and given to stu-dents in government schools and NGOs.
